Unreal Engine 5.4 Opacity Mask shader issue, Material with opacity mask enabled causes meshes invisible in distance.

Hello, we have an issue with the Unreal Engine 5.4. There is a huge problem with the shaders, when opacity mask node is enabled with masked shader, meshes will be invisible in distance (They seem okay in closer distance.). When we unplug the opacity mask from the material,the issue has gone.


Hope someone will find a solution for this issue and hope that Epic games will give more care about solving the issues rather than adding more problemmatic features for each never versions.

Hi FreshCan… facing the same issue… not getting shadows with Translucency material, and fading with distance if we change it to opacity mask in shader. please reply if u got any solution with running commands

You’ll need to update the shader manually though as it was not deployed in release.
