Unreal Engine 5.3.1 has huge packaging bugs, including chaos vehicles and EOS

5.3.1 and 5.3 installer build has serious packaging errors. Can’t run packaged games with chaos vehicle, it says chaos vehicle plugin is enabled but module cannot be found.

The problem is also with source builds.

However UE 5.1 doesn’t have this problem.
I didn’t try 5.2 but I think the problem is in there too.

There are other problems such as when you package a project with online subsystem EOS it doesn’t run, but it doesn’t show any errors.

Older versions seems to be working with less bugs.

i think it does have packaging problems

I packaged and built lots of times, in 5.3, everything has been working… How ever I will try 5.3.1 tomorrow.

Are you using chaos vehicles and EOS? What packaging settings you are using I wonder.

Also, does anybody know how to compile chaos vehicles plugin from sourcecode?

Also in metahuman animator when exporting animation sequence face is not included instead identity is in its place stopping further animation.

Ya I think recently Epic wanted to optimize things rather than on bug fixing. UE5.0 and 5.1 are less optimized but lot less buggier than 5.3.
