Had the Nvidia Overlay from GeForce Experience turned on, turning it off solved the freezing error for me.
cause Unreal 5 got a lot of bugs in the engineâŚ
unreal 5 doesnât recognize the graphics card or claims that the graphics card is too weak and all my Unreal 5 games crash like this
i have a RTX 4090
It is always the same answer but never the fix, the problem is not outdated drivers or not enough RAM or GPU memory, it is that Unreal Engine has hijacked the computer.
If it you canât play it on Steam after you bought the game on Steam and neither can you play it on OMEN, both of which are very good to play games on, but the Unreal Engine Crash has taken over preventing you from uninstalling it.
Now how do you uninstall Unity Game Engine when every single Unity file and folder has been deleated and still overrides Steam? Unity has been uninstalled, uninstalled, uninstalled and still wonât let you play Steam or OMEN. I even went so far as to reinstall Windows, and the same thing.
If Unity highjacks and wonât leave, that makes it a Trojan. The poster was not asking you to tell them to look at corrupt files or outdated drivers, blah blah blah that is always the same parroted response in every forum, they want to know how to get rid of Unity completely so they can play the frickin games.
The person already said they did this, and this, and this, and this and it still wonât work and then you reply with do this and do this and this and this that they already have done.
i found a solution to the same problem and it is to do with i9 13000 series and up cpus and you need to update your bios
ok i shutdown my pc and it happens again. ill try to find another solution
In my case it was due to insufficient memory.
I have total of 64GB RAM.
UE5 was using about 32 Gigs and rest of the programs were using 32Gigs due to which the memory wsa full and UE5 kept crashing
version: UE 5.5.3
I have the same video card switch out from an rtx a200 to rtx 4070 super Iâve disabled everything even reinstalled the games but still crashes reinstalled video drives and unreal engine but still the same results it worked fine on the rtx a2000 a switch in card shouldnât make a difference after reinstalling new drivers and engine?
Thanks a lot big man, I turned on FXAA in Nvidia Control Panel to smoothen up texts and whatnot outside of games, wouldnât have thought itâll break Unreal. My engine was 5.4.4 version.
