We want more tutorials! we want more tutorials!
And I’d love to make em asap. I ordered a studio microphone over the weekend and I have a set of tutorials ready and waiting to be recorded. My mic is said to arrive tomorrow! So lets all cross our fingers and hope that my blue microphone arrives on time!!! Also my lovely spouse just got me an ergonomic computer chair, i’ve never had a computer chair before. I always have sat in a wooden chair, so im really excited to be comfortable working! <3 Yay !!!
@SaxonRah Have you deleted the first videos? Just got a notification on my smartphone and wanted to check out part 4 but I just saw that the new uploaded video is called “Beginner C++ with Unreal Engine 4 # 1” and I can’t find the older videos on your channel.
check his channel again:

I think he remade the series. Maybe because he wasn’t satisfied with the quality of the videos.
Videos 1 to 4 are up and finished. Yay. Will upload more tomorrow. Im tried of fighting youtube with uploading errors today.
Yes i deleted the older videos. I’m remaking the series.
Thanks mate. You helped a ton
hi, could you add some videos about converting existing bp(for example from standard vehicle bp) to c++, its nice to see how c++ programmer thinking and what do step by step(how you use documentation for replacing bp to c++)
Videos 5-7 are up now
I’ve thought about this myself, it will be something we will definitely go over in the future. I want to get the entire language out of the way first. So that way everyone is on the same footing and has learned about all the language features so that nothing new language wise is learned when trying to do this. I feel it will make for a far better and concise tutorial that way. Thanks for the idea <3
Shameless double post but the pointer video is up, actually it’s been up since the 9th but I’ve gotten a bunch of messages asking why i haven’t continually been uploading. I’ve been a bit busy working my day job and having a shoulder injection and recovering from that.
Good tutorials SaxonRah for which we are beginning to work and study with UE4’s API.
Video # 9 is up <3 Multiple Returns and passing by reference. Not much left to do in-terms of language specifics to finally get started with the new series (how to make games in c++).
sorry it’s taken me so long.
That’s awesome ! <3 I feel super blessed to have people like you being notified on their mobile device!
Side note, i just added a page to the Unreal Engine 4 Community Videos Wikipedia page!
I’m happy to see this and I’m going to give it some serious time when I can. My question is, if what I learn about C++ here can apply to non-Unreal programming?
@Slateboard Yes you can apply what you’ve learned so far to standard c++. Some things in these videos are from the ue4 api like macros, output log, containers. Just to name a few. I encourage you to first go over (at least) the basics of c++. It gives you a better understanding of how the language works and you’ll be able to troubleshoot most of the errors due to your experience with standard c++.
I just wanted to update everyone, I have been super busy, with health and family related issues. BUT I have been working on more tutorials for this series and been working on another series making classic video games using c++. I’m not sure when i will be finished, i just wanted to let you all know i am still alive working on stuff for you all. Take care. <3
yay subscribed to this!
I’ve been on a hiatus because I was in extreme amounts of pain in the mouth and i had to go have mouth surgery. I had an abscess’d tooth that required surgery to remove so i have like 30 stitches in my mouth. So, once im all healed up ill have a few days to record some new stuff for this and the new series. <3
Thanks for tutorials
