HI PPL IM new to unreal engine and I wanted to open a ready file to learn but it says A project’s path must not be longer than 130 characters. does any one know how I can fix it
That means you’re trying to save to a location where you have too many folders which is making the location of the project a long string of text. You need to put it somewhere that would be shorter, like D:\UnrealProjects\

Hi, I have the same question. In my case, i used projects in my externe hard drive, witch means that the path name is longer than 130 caracter, but after i formate my pc and reinstalling the same version of UE, i started to receve these message. Can any one help?
