4.26 Preview 6 im pretty sure RVT are broken none of mine are working when I migrate from 4.25. And I double checked the material, volume and landscape.
I think the skylight settings in raytracing has changed. When I migrate from 4.25 to 4.26, the skylight is behaving completely different, and isnt providing lighting im getting in 4.25 (which is better lighting with more shadows. Anyone know what could be going on? I would really like to migrate to 4.26 for my project to use its new features when its officially done, but the raytraced skylight lighting has become an essential component for my animation project. Hopefully this is fixed!

I just ran into the same issue also with 4.26. Suddenly my Skylight looked overblown and not occluded like in your screenshots (I have cast raytraced shadows on). Iām not sure what exactly fixed it but I remember that I tried a few things: I toggled the mobility a few times (set it to static then movable), I also unchecked and checked the new realtime capture setting and also pressed the Recapture button. One of those made it go back to normal.
Is that meant for the source version of UE4 (given that as far as I know Chaos is disabled for the launcher version)? Also, upon the full 4.26 release, will it be possible to build source version with chaos as well?
in 4.26 Preview 7. Still exists a bug when if you disable Raytraced Shadow Denoiser (r.Shadow.Denoiser 0) all RectLight stop casting Raytraced shadow.
Proper behavior - RectLight continues to casting Raytraced shadow but Raytraced Shadow Denoiser is disabled.
This affects only RectLights and only with Shadow denoiser. Disabling other Denoisers (AO, Reflection, Diffuse GI, Skylight) doesnāt produce this bug.
Thanks for the suggestion! Changing the mobility and recapturing the scene did not work for me however. Im noticing the skylight affect is much more subtle when doing that though. Its barrely affecting my environment. But my environment should actually be much darker in reality.
After updating to preview 7 I canāt even open my projects created in preview 6. Crashes while compiling shaders before the editor even loads.

Update: Nevermind I just had to restart the epic games application. Also skylight still seems to be different in Preview 7.

Yeah im noticing that it could have something to do with displacement/tesselation. I havent experienced a crash yet, but all of my materials that use that feature are broken.
Thanks for pointing this out, can confirm. I started a new project, enabled GPU Lightmass and VT Lightmaps. Worked fine until I switched raytracing on then it started crashing.
