Unreal Engine 4.25 released!

When can we expect 4.25.1?

well i can feel the ‘under the hood’ changes… structure and architecture… (thumbs up) good job guys…

Anyone else having an issue where using Open Level Is Freezing a BUILT game and never loading the level?
also using it without the get current level name manually does not work in a packaged game.
no errors, game just freezes then crashes without any logs.

i even tried using restart game but Game mode can’t be attached to it anymore? LOL

this used to work in 4.24

Hi all!
Did anyone experience troubles with network replication, with the replication graph implemented? In 4.24 all was ok, but for now in 4.25, with localhost testing, i am experiencing a huge lags for clients. Please tell me someone catch same problems with network replication?

I was able to address this previously with that commit, but it seems, not working for these cloth flags https://unrealengine.com/marketplace…gs-and-banners

It gets initialized but then immediately stomped and reset in the code. I ‘fixed’ this regression like so

Anyone knows something about an approximate releasing date? I cannot even build a exe because of a bug. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

4.24.1 was released 9 days after 4.24.0, so shouldn’t be much longer this time around.

Selecting and deleting a painted foliage actor with the foliage tool instantly crashes the engine.

Landscape Sculpting keeps crashing and the crash-log doesn’t give any useful information. Can anyone help or has anyone the same issues?

the crash window has a button to open logs…

4.24 has TraceServices/SessionService.h and 4.25 doesn’t have it. Can you guys please fix this? You’re literally missing a header lol

Touching a broken structure instantly results in the editor crashing.
Copy/pasting a healthy structure, instant crash.

Please fix structures for once.

Happened exactly same for me sometimes in 4.24 and with 4.25 previews, sent log with crash reporter multiple times. Maybe it will be resolved eventually. With 4.25 final it did not happen for me anymore.

Noticed a flicker issue with some materials/meshes.

When using buttons inside a scroll box, Presise Tap doesn’t work on mobiles! It always receive the button event if you scroll/drag. Using onClicked with Precise Click works.

As a Win7 user, I too get the DXGIGetDebuginterface1 error message at launch

anyone know would could be going on with render Movie with
Master Audio Submix and sequence as .avi.

I’ve added -audioMixer flag and enabled plugins ‘Sound Utilities’ and ‘Synthesis and DSP Effects’ and restarted but on creating the sequence the images run well as does the audio however when i get to the end of my sequence I get a repeating stuttering sound as if looping a very small portion of the sequence. then when i check the output the video is there but there is no audio at all.

any help/insights would be appreciated!
