Unreal Engine 4.18 Game fails to launch in HTML5

Greetings, I am using the latest version of Unreal Engine 4.18. I have built a very detailed map. I am simply trying to launch my game on HTML5. Everything seems to load fine, until the very end. Here is what I am seeing in my logfile:

If I recall correctly, errors such as UnicodeDecodeError: ‘utf8’ codec can’t decode byte 0x93 in position 48: invalid start byte can come in file packager if some of the asset files contain non-ascii characters. Try to see if there might be some characters that are not A-Z, a-z, 0-9 etc. that might be causing the error.

Looking at https://www.ascii-code.com/, it lists that in ISO 8859-1 encoding, 0x93 would be “left double quotation mark”, i.e.

147 223 93 10010011 “ � “ Left double quotation mark

though that’s just a random hunch. It might still be worthwhile to see if there are any quote marks in any of the filenames, and if so, remove them and see if that would help packaging to succeed.

Thanks for the help so far, that link you sent couldn’t load the page. I checked my filenames to see if they have any quote marks in them, and none of them do. I’m not that good at coding or understanding coding language, however maybe someone can help me understand if html5 has any limitations in regards to the polycount of models or the textures. would the size of a model or the reflective texture of a model cause it not to launch in HTML%? or is their just another glitch?

There may be limits to polycounts and textures, though can definitely not cause an error like UnicodeDecodeError at this point. Try checking out if e.g. built-in ThirdPerson example exports correctly?
