Hi, so I downloaded the launcher few day ago, and everytime I try to download a version of the engine, I can’t, So the 4.8.3 version won’t get more than 0% , the 4.9.2 won’t get more than 16 %, I got more on the 4.10.2, it was around 36% to 39% and the last one was the 4.11.0 which stops at 5%, I’m trying with this one because it’s only have around 3.5 go.
I tried the troublehooting launcher problem section, it didn’t work.
Uninstalling and re-installing the launcher at least 4 times didn’t affect it.
I hope you’ll find the solution quickly.
Certain computers can handle it others cant. But when it comes to mac’s you should never use them for unreal engine
Im having the same problem with the latest version it wont download for me either here are my specs
Windows10, 20GB DDR3 Ram,Amd 9590@ 4.7ghz,Geforce 970 4GB,250GB SSD (main drive)
This is the only time have I ever had problems updating UE4
Hey guys do u know if i can work on project from unreal on multi computers at once
If you mean multiple people working on the same project at the same time yes you can. Sign up at GitHud if you haven’t already and create yourself a repository. As long as each machine has the UnrealEngine installed you can pull the files from the repository and have multiple people work on the same project.
I had a lot of trouble downloading until I realized that AVG was messing the download up. After the third try and failure I figured it out and shut off Virus program during download and installation and it worked fine, not sure if that is your problem but that is what happen to me.
Hello SamDj23,
Thank you for reaching out to the Epic support team. We have recently restructured our support system to better assist our users across Epic’s growing catalog of products.
Epic Games launcher support will now be handled by our Player Support team through an email ticketing system and active knowledge base. This support will encompass the download and installation of the launcher and the various Epic Games products hosted on the launcher (UE, UT, Shadow Complex, Fortnite, and Paragon). The launcher support team will also handle connection issues related to these products. The launcher support site can be accessed here (http://help.epicgames.com/).
Traditionally, Unreal Engine support has been handled through AnswerHub, and this particular process will not change. Users of the Unreal Engine may continue to post questions and issues as normal and interact with the engine support team. Any questions or issues that arise prior to the successful installation of the Unreal Engine should be directed at the website above and the launcher support team.
Those seeking assistance with the other individual products may do so through the following pages:
Unreal Tournament - http://help.unrealtournament.com/
Shadow Complex - http://shadowcomplexhelp.epicgames.com/
Fortnite - Coming soon
Paragon - http://paragonhelp.epicgames.com/
Fix the (http://help.epicgames.com/) link in your generic answer by putting a space between brackets and the link because browsers glue them together when you click on the link, resulting in a defect adress.
