Unreal Engine 4.10.1 issue on .

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I still can’t seem to get rid of the display problem I am experiencing. The best way to describe it is with a screenshot.
Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance.

If that is Windows10, I have seen it before both on PC’s and Mac’s its possible in Win10 to break the system font. The only workable solution I’ve seen is to do a re-install of Windows over the top.

It says that these issues are on a in the title.

What GPU does your Mac have? Only GPUs that support Apple’s OpenGL 4.1 will work properly and running UE4 on some OpenGL 3.3 GPUs ends up looking like this.

My Mac BookPro has a discrete GeForce 9600M GT and an integrated GeForce 9400M. Yes, I know. My Mac is very old, but I didn’t start having this issue until I updated launcher and installed 4.10. I find that I have no problems when I force switch to the integrated GPU. I would rather use the discrete GPU. have also downloaded Nvidia Web Drivers to over-ride the Mac OS drivers. Still no luck.
Any more suggestions?

I did find this post, Unreal 4.1.0 launcher multicolor graphics issue on OSX - Platform & Builds - Epic Developer Community Forums.
I’m not sure why the 9400M has no problems but the 9600M GT does as they both are OpenGL 3.3 GPUs

I found a work around. I can load my project while using the 9400M. After it is loaded, I can switch the GPU to the 9600M GT. So far no crashes.

Hi,

I have the exact same problem using the editor in Unreal 4.10.4. I have a late 2008, and under OSX I get the same sort of screen if I am using the 9600M. With the integrated 9400M it works fine. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can use the above work around, since on my Mac I have to log out and back in again to switch graphics. It seems odd that the 9400M works and the 9600M doesn’t. It may be some sort of driver issue, I guess. This happened both on Yosemite and El Capitan (I upgraded hoping it would help).

If I package a simple OSX project it runs fine with the integrated graphics. However, if I switch to the 9600M the same binary crashes without displaying anything.

The 9600M works fine on the machine running Windows under bootcamp with 4.10.4. I can’t cook on the machine at all with 4.11, either in Windows or OSX, but that is a separate problem.
