I’m in need of someone with the ability to make modifications to Unreal Editor via Plugins. Instead of waiting hoping for Epic to implement the features I would like to see I’m putting myself out there to fund these updates and will be open to some discussion on the topic with the right parties. There is a high likelihood of the Plugin being released on the market when it gets completed and am open to offering a reasonable royalty bonus if that happens, to reiterate though the initial position is paid and code rights will be transferred to myself once an agreement is reached.
Responsibilities will include creating an extension to the Blueprint Editor and creating modifications to the flow of the Blueprint interface within the extension. Future work with Unreal Motion Graphics and other parts of the editor are something I’m interested in pursuing but for now I’m keeping the scope limited as I need the Blueprint updates to be done in a timely manner.
The position is contract based initially and full-time hours won’t be required. Applicants should have a strong understanding of CPP and the UE4 API including Plugins, preferably proven experience in doing similar work. A passion for working on tools rather than games would be highly regarded.
