I’m having the same issue and it looks like its related to my revision control plugin Diversion. When I turn off revision control I can download Quixel materials. Really sucks. On a deadline right now… worst time to loose Bridge… thanks a lot Epic.
True, it works to use the desktop for commit or you can turn on Diversion in UE5, make commit, then turn off. Just don’t leave Revision Control on when you do anything in model or try to simulate.
The same issue happens to me. Although disabling Diversion isn’t an option for me as I never had it. Do you know of something that might cause the same issue.
Note I’m using macOS, maybe that has something to do with it.
Solution i found is just to reinstall FAB from the Epic Games Store. to do that, open Epic Games > go to the Unreal Engine tab > then Library.
Click on Installed Plugins and hit Remove for the FAB plugin.
To reinstall it, stay in the Library tab and scroll down. youwill find the FAB Library tab there. Inside that, you’ll see the FAB plugin again , just click Install to Engine.
Now restart Unreal, and that will solve the issue.
