Unreal crashes after enabling ray tracing

Help me solve the problem, please.
After I enable ray tracing in the scene settings it tells me to restart, I hit restart and after the scene doesn’t load it freezes at 45%. I have an NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti.
Would really appreciate a good advise.

Does it actually crash? If it’s just frozen and the CPU usage is high it means that the shaders are being compiled and you need to wait.

Actually, it freezes but takes a lot of time I waited like forever and it never started working. But after I loaded the game template and it works, so now I don’t know maybe it is better to wait and see what happens.
