Disclaimer: I’m a beginner at unreal
Unreal crashed, restarted, got a popup saying: “The following locations have limited free space. It is recommended that you free up some space to avoid issues such as crashed and data loss due to files not being able to be written and saved. C:/Users/Name/Documents/Unreal Projects”
All my projects in that folder are gone, no .uproject, no content, config folders, nothing. They don’t show up during start-up, they are not in that specific folder anymore, search function on computer can’t find them. I am hugely f*cked, as it’s my school project from my final semester. I can rebuild it but that will take like a week.
I do have a WindowsNoEditor.pak file on google drive from two weeks ago, would I be able to restore it via that? I had no idea what files to make a backup from from Unreal (I’m a beginner obviously). Hopefully somebody can help me, or at least tell me how to properly make a backup from my project that I can store on Google Drive for the future.
