Unreal crash on startup

Greetings,

I m using a laptop with 2 video cards: GeForce GTX1050 and Intel HD Graphics 630. When both of them are working at the same time Unreal Editor crashes several seconds after launch and Epic Games Launcherstarts flashing on the task bar and not starting up. If I disable any of the two it starts, but my laptop acts like potato… messes upgraphic quality and performance.

In the Nvidia Control Panel, go to 3D settings and set it to use the Nvidia graphics card for everything by default. Systems like that don’t do a good job of assigning which GPU for each program so it’s better to just have the Nvidia GPU take care of everything. There can also be some issues due to power saving settings when running on battery.
