Hi, does anyone know what is the cause of this Unreal error?
It closes for no reason after using it for a few minutes.
I open it again and sometimes it closes again and sometimes not.
The DX12 RHI points towards something to do with the GPU. Is your pc in balanced power mode? If so try putting it to High Performance.
What specs are you running unreal on?
If you are using an Nvidia GPU you can try the studio version of the graphics drivers.
Or try reinstalling the GPU drivers with a clean install using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).
Do you have GPU crashes on other 3d applications?
Some people on the web mention that it could be a problem with RAM seating.(but it’s unconfirmed)
Sometimes it can also be a security issue
You can try adding all related project / editor files(.exe) to windows security exclusion list. Disabled real time protection might help too if all else fails.
