Unreal Composure 5.7 TSR causes ghosting on edge of chroma keyed video

This clip shows an example of how motion in composure 5.7 chroma keyed video causes ghosting on the edges of the key. You can see next to his ear when he moves to the right it leaves a ghost trail next to his ear.

We have been unable to find a solution to what we were seeing. We eventually discovered it was caused by the TSR (or TAA) anti aliasing. When we turn that off or change to FXAA then this problem goes away and gives us a clean edge to the key. However without TSR the actual Unreal background scene looks absolutely terrible with aliased edges and grainy looking video noise everywhere there are shadows mainly.

We are doing 3 camera live tracked virtual productions and unfortunately the quality is terrible with either anti aliasing choice at this point. One makes the video bad, the other makes the background bad.

Is there any setting or configuration to fix this? how can we have TSR applied to our composure 5.7 background and not ruin the chroma keyed video?

I installed the new 5.8 preview and experimented with it yesterday. It did not seem to change anything with the TSR ghosting. However the new options you added are really great, when using FXAA I can now apply a 1 pixel crop of the key and a 1 pixel blur of the alpha edge and that does clean up our key a little bit better. But our background graphics will still look terrible with FXAA.

I am hoping there’s some UE expert out there who knows of some silly little checkbox somewhere that might just fix our problem and we just don’t know about it.

Thanks
