  • Did you use Houdini?

Yes I used a pyro simulation in Houdini to get the smoke effect for my spell explosion. I used a created a sphere, using the normal information I created outward velocity for some particles. Then I drove a pyro sim using these particles and rendered out my smoke sim. After that I used mosaics and sprites to bring the smoke into Unreal and used Niagara to generate the sprites.
