Will we be notified if we don’t win? I am confused about this whole process as I was pretty confident I would get at least second with the limited amount of entries for UEFN but I still have yet to recieve an email.

It is my understanding that all winners will be notified via e-mail - on or about August 17th. No way to know if that happened. Well, assuming I didn’t get an e-mail because I didn’t win.

And I expected to see a list of winners posted here in the forum. Or at least an update on the schedule. I get it may have been delayed but at least let us know.

Hey everyone!

As you may be aware, some significant delays in the judging process have meant outreach to potential winners and, consequently, the winner’s announcement. We want to make sure that each participant has the best experience with the challenges, and as such, we felt it was necessary to delay this; that being said, while there is not a firm date, you can expect to see the winner’s announcement between late September and early October, likely after the submissions close for the upcoming 2023 Epic MegaJam.

As far as the megajam goes, on the megajams page 2023 Epic MegaJam! - itch.io. It mentions ,“If you’re looking for Unreal Editor for Fortnite 2023 Epic MegaJam submission information, please head to the Creator Blog for more information. (This will be live and updated here on August 30).”. I am confused where to find more information on the Creator Blog and am curious if it has been updated yet. If it has is there anyway you could share a link?

I have some assumptions on what might be going on. I checked the Unreal Engine Youtube to see when they announced the MegaJam winners last year and it said it was the 27th of October which I suspect might be a similar date/situation this year. Considering they had everyone wait until the MegaJam submissions close, it wouldn’t surprise me if they waited until the day of the winner’s announcement this year and or shortly thereafter to announce the winners of the Furious Elegance animation challenge.
