Hello,

All I’m told is that the Build Tool Failed. I need more information, because I have absolutely no idea what is causing the issue.
Hello,
So, this seems to be a technical issue, and I have absolutely no idea on how to fix it:
All I’m told is that the Build Tool Failed. I need more information, because I have absolutely no idea what is causing the issue.
So, I’ve been at this all day, and I’ve seen a whole slew of responses to the same issue from different posts.
I even spent hours going back and forth with Nvidia, because those fools don’t even understand their own application.
(Actual Convo:
Me: What does “Failed to load NGX Core mean?”
NV: Have you tried updating your driver?
Me: I did, with the other agent. So you don’t know what that means?
NV: I have helped you as much as I can. Thank you for contacting Nvidia. Have a great day!)
After much trial and error, I discovered that my Plugins (Nvidia and AMD) were in the PLUGINS FOLDER and not the MARKETPLACE FOLDER.
All of the other Plugins are in the PLUGINS FOLDER, but those two MUST BE IN THE MARKETPLACE FOLDER.
How silly of me to place them in the PLUGINS folder with all of the other… PLUGINS!!!&^&^%&^%%^&
Anyway, it’s been a long day. I lost a day of production for this nonsense, and I’m going to take a shot and go to bed.
Also, for anyone who wants to know the exact location to look:
(Wherever you installed Unreal) → (That Version) → Engine → Plugins → Marketplace
↑ Because I absolutely HATE when people tell you to change/move a file, but don’t bother where to tell you to look.
