Unreal blueprints for architecture

Hello, im a student of architecture, so i dont know anythign about programming C++ and that stuff, but im very interested on learning unreal because i want to create an interactive scenario, that u can open doors, sit on ur furniture, interact with objects and to change the color/texture of ur walls, furniture, etc…

I have seen many tutorials but i really dont get it, my main problem is to create a blueprint that when u go near an object it displays a menu that shows u the different textures and u select one and it apply to the object. i dont get the variables, get and set, a really dont understand many things about the program but im trying really hard.

can someone guide me please, just be kind, step by step otherwise ill get lost.
