I can’t migrate 10k FBX files without having a mess of thousands of objects lying around, where the materials have not the textures on it, because the importer of unreal is to dump for it.
Is there no plugin that imports assets by keeping the mass of data organized and ready to use?
Example: Drop 10k assets in hundrets of folders into unity! What you get is a mess of detached objects, materials and unassigned textures all lying around in somehow! O_O
OR…
I combine them, and then have lesser files, with ALSO empty materials and unassigned textures lying around too, where the meshes are much lesser transformable now! It’s fix. WOW! what a better solution!
Unreal - it has NOW lumen! It has everything… but it’s too dump to manage files!
