Unreal 5 repeatedly Crashing

Every time I load up Unreal it crashes, usually after roughly about 5 minutes. I have no idea how to fix it, I’ve tried adjusting the 3D model section of the Nvidia Control panel but unfortunately still nothing. I can’t find anything specific to help, any suggestions?

Here’s what I get when it crashes

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x000002b8d3b305d0

I have exactly the same problem Unreal 5.1 just all of a sudden in the last day or so started crashing with nvwgf2umx on startup.
I wonder if it is related to installing the MetaHuman Plugin for 5.1 that just came out  that is literally the only change.

Edit: Only change except for the patch Tuesday Windows update (Windows 10)

My error is:

Same question

I’m having the same issue :frowning:

Exact same issue here, anyone found a fix?

Nope not that I can find :frowning: as uncomfortable as it is, I think I am just around the corner from going back to Unity

We have been doing projects in both and have found Unity a lot more stable and honestly even with HDRP, a lot more preformant. sigh

*Latest versions that is

having the same issue, can someone help?

Same issue, is there no fix for this?

Have you got AA turned off? I spent ages trying everything I could and this seems to have fixed it for me.

Go to NVIDIA control panel - manage 3d settings - program settings - UE5 - (if using a laptop set preferred GPU to high performance) - then turn off AA gamma and mode.

Hope this helps. If this doesn’t work consider rolling back your GPU drivers if 5.1 worked previously.
