Unreal 5.7 Modeling Colision broken ?

Ive just upgraded to Unreal 5.7 and the Modelling mode Collision does not appear to be working at all, even when changing the assets to block all in the colision presents.

Ive attempted it in my main project and also a clean project with the following steps and video attached.

  1. Open a clean project, I have used the new First person shooter template.

  2. Opening modeling mode and place a box in the world.

  3. Enter play mode and note you can walk through the box.

Found the issue in 5.6 a change happened to remove the default collision for new mesh’s.

Release notes for 5.6
Modified the default CollisionMode for new meshes to SimpleAndComplex.

The previous default CollisionMode of UseComplexAsSimple was chosen to get a quick out of the box collision from generated meshes. Although this default works for out of the box collision, it does not work for physics simulations. It can be difficult to deduce why that is the case when you have collision.

To make this easier to discover and more consistent with the rest of the engine, the default for new meshes is now SimpleAndComplex. Users can use the collision tools under the Attribs category of Modeling Mode to generate collision.

Solution - At the bottom, changing the setting to complex only returns it to the behaviour of 5.5 and older. I was on 5.4 until today.
