Unreal 5.6: Sounds disappearing in certain areas

I’m experiencing the strangest bug I’ve ever had in Unreal! After migrating my project from 5.5.4 to 5.6, I’m getting an unexplainable audio bug. In different areas of my map, some sounds just disappear — like footstep sounds or ambient audio. It’s as if there’s an invisible sphere, and as soon as you enter it, certain sounds vanish. But there’s nothing there, and how can sounds just stop playing like that? I checked — the footstep sounds are definitely being triggered, even when I try different functions, but still no sound. I’m usually comfortable with debugging, but this just makes no sense. Yet another bug to blame on Unreal 5.6.
