Unreal 5.5 Games Animation Sample Project; Why do moving platforms cause the animations to drag/float/sink

^Above mentioned floating when standing on a platform that is moving down faster than the player character

^Above mentioned sinking when standing on a platform that is moving up faster than the player character

^Above mentioned dragging when standing on a platform that is moving horizontally faster than the player character

I need to fix this as it causes some visual glitching, I am a first time Dev working on what is hopefully a future side career for me <3

it started happening with the update from 5.4 to 5.5 when I used the new update for the “Games Animations Sample Pack” and I am fairly certain (though I am inexperienced) that it’s coming from the foot IK rig they added with the new update and have yet to solve this on my own if there is any chance someone from the community could be my hero today?

Not sure, but try setting the last tick group for the skeletal mesh component:

after some fiddling with unknowable forces, it was as easy as getting rid of these two boxes in the ABP, just bypassing them fixed it for me, but then I also added the old foot IK rig to the end
