Unreal 5.5.3 Metahuman Blueprint Compile bug when saving level.

Greetings from Ireland,

I have been working on some look development using Metahuman and Unreal 5.5.3

I have noticed a serious bug when saving a level or sequence.

My metahuman has lipsync animation and motion capture animation and some custom clothes. When I compile the metahuman in the blueprint everything sorts as it should. But if I save the level or a sequence the head jumps off the body of the metahuman to some some random place behind the neck.

To solve this serious veiwport issue you need to open the Blue print and re-compile. The head magically jumps back into position… until you save the level or sequence. Then the head jumps back off the body again.

Does this sound like a familiar problem for anyone else out there on 5.5.3 ?

Thanks in advance for you help.

Adam

Apologies about commenting on my own post. I Forgot to add in these screen-grabs. The floating head issue is well trodden territory is seems but I haven’t seen it associated with a level or sequence save function before.

Thanks Adam
