Unreal 5.0 using SunSky causes sky to go black after using F1 to view wireframe

We have Unreal plugin that loads terrain using a procedural mesh approach. When we use the SunSky actor in this application the sky appears correct after it is first loaded however if we press F1 while in play mode to view the scene in wireframe, when we press F2 the sky goes black. If we use the Sky Sphere / SkyLight approach we do not see this effect. We see a similar issue when play content brought in through datasmith with the SunSky node in that when we go into playmode and press F1 for wire frame we get the black sky when pressing F2 in these datasets as well however, if we exit play mode the sky returns to normal. Is this a known issue in UE 5?
