Unreal 5.0 and 5.1 both crashing when I open the internal Quixel Bridge.

Hi I’m getting complete engine crashes when opening quixel bridge in 5.0 and 5.1 Window. I even reinstalled the engine, I allowed all firewall requests etc. No success. Why is it crashing?!

No, not yet. It still crashes, I also have activated other Plugins like web authentication, but still crashing.

did you add quixel bridge plugin to the engine in you epic game library? Under the version of UE there is a button like “installed plugins”.

Yes, it shows that it’s installed. I deinstall it and see what happens

It just keep crashing. Deinstalled + Reinstalled.

how do you start your project ? can you bandicam it ? how the error coming up?

and also check your installation options, by clicking on arrow on the right of the launch button


Ok, I’ve fixed it now by uninstalling all engine versions and Epic Games Launcher, then reinstalled. Finally it works. Thanks for your help.
