hi i am new to this and am trying to make an ocean in my game but don’t no how

First step would probably be go to 4.27?

i tried to but my computer runs slowly on it

Maybe try 4.19. It might be a good idea to go back a major version number.

I’m surprised to hear you’re seeing a performance difference from 4.25 to 4.27. (Let us know if you’re having trouble finding the ‘Scalability Settings’ in-editor)

If you’re new to Unreal and have an older PC this is bad advice, but I do want you to be aware of the " Water Rendering and Meshing System" that was first released in 4.26

Otherwise, take a look at this free Water Planes Asset Pack.
