Looking for Unreal Engine Developers to partner up with for E-Commerce driven projects using Ue5 and Pixelstreaming - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yg6iYfUEYyQ&list=PL9OsQLO6OKSby3YVAqEgWosg8TF60JmOA
This is one of the best VR Mall Projects I’ve seen over the years. However, I find the purchase process (transfer to webpage) severely immersion breaking. Is there and API to handle purchases, etc within the 3D World?
Hello, appreciate the feedback and positive remarks. Your insight on the purchase process is intriguing. My initial perspective was that brands would prefer users to complete transactions on their own websites rather than within the 3D world. Currently, there’s no API for in-game purchases, but it’s a promising idea for maintaining immersion.
Please see short video on how we were proposing to attach our 3d Worlds into brands 2d websites - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnqXcRW0gFQ.
Over the past year, I’ve developed this prototype with the assistance of dedicated developers who generously contributed their time. While I handled the level design and built the levels, I lack expertise in technical aspects like blueprints, relying on others for functionality. Unfortunately, the original developers are no longer available due to full-time commitments.
At this stage, with the prototype nearing completion, I’m seeking collaboration with technical artists. A few technical challenges remain, and I’m eager to address them. If you know of anyone interested in such a partnership, please feel free to reach out. Thanks!
Jump-to-website would be ok for purchasing one or two Items, but not so fun with a larger group of items. I would expect the 3D store to offer a shopping cart and checkout like a traditional online store. I don’t see why the customer front end can appear this way.
Many 3D Virtual Malls implementation attempt to mimic the real world store experience which is very difficult because the true purpose of going to a mall is not captured. I go to real-world mall to see and be seen by real-world people.
Most of these 3D Mall translations are boring to me because of this. However, I think the 3D/VR Mall would benefit from mimicking 3D games. Games are how most of us were introduced to 3D.
Why not add game mechanics and fictional settings. Why not allow me to play in game world with virtual representations of the products ive purchased. Players do this now in games to show off their gear.
Where are the Mall Zombies at? How come I cannot shop for Space Jam Air Jordans on Planet X? I’m personally not inclined to load up a empty modern day game level just walk around and sight see.
Nice points, thanks for the feedback.
Yeah, we intend to make themed Retail levels. Who says a Virtual Retail store needs to mimic the real world? We will have different levels set in unique landscapes, where users can virtually shop in locations they never have before, for example. Car Showroom on an Low Earth Orbiting Space Station. A furniture shop based in the jungle, or shoe store on a moving, futuristic train. The mall in the video is just to show potential, but the RetailVerses we can build are infinite. And we will gamify the environment, for example have weekly treasure hunts for sponsored retail goods, explorer badges, mystery boxes and daily challenges. Hidden portals, Time limited pop up sales, shop challenges. We’ll also have AI generated NPCs like in the video who will interact with users. Users will also have AI shop assistants who will be able to give advice on latest sales and best buys according to each users purchase history. We want to try make it as exciting and social as possible.
Actually, your presentation does show Fantastical Design. Your future Gamification sounds amazing.

I love the idea of Treasure Hunts. In fact, my Maze & Monsters Game is a Treasure Hunt for real-world Cash Prizes. Limited Pop Up Sales, Shop Challenges, Hidden Portals all sound fantastic. Dont forget the Zombies.
I also think there is a place for Jump-to-website for purchases. Do you have an API? Could license that Tech to other developers to incorporate in their own Games?
Thanks for the feedback, You Maze and Monsters game looks good. At present I am the only one working on this project, and I am not a technical artist, I create and build the levels but need Ue5 BP devs to code and build out functionality. That is why Im looking to partner with like minded individuals who see the potential for this platform. If interested please email on graeme@designgvr.com , there is alot we could do with this.
I appreciate what you are doing. I would prefer to discuss further over my Discord or yours.
Apologies, only saw this now. I will contact you via Discord.
