A 3D Modeler for human characters and clothes (realistic and optimised low poly crowd characters, roman guards, tigers, etc…)

A 3D Rigger and Animator with Blender (If you use other 3D software and you have the license, it could be ok, 3D modeler are also welcome.

A UE4 BP/C++/JSON DEV Oriented in Networking LAN/WAN to collaborate with my actual Developers.

A Textures/Shadders and SFX specialist all in one.

A Web Dev with advanced skills such as NoSQL, JSON, PHP, JS, Security, Optimisations, etc…
And of course, other talents are welcome to join the Shin-Kaneda Team, just ask then we can talk about it !

Hello,
i wish to join the team as a 3D modeller. I am a retired engineer with 3D modelling training but am new to game development. I am currently working on 3D models for a medieval fantasy game (see attached). I was a draughtsman so am also good at drawing if this is an asset you require.

So any Music composer are welcome actually but they need to know how to build dynamical music that goes with the action of the game.

Kartoffel89** Well you are the 2nd person who asking so i’ll try to explain in short what’s going on…
The SWA Project start in 2015 so we learn and experiment with various softwares until we find the right Workflow
considering also the licences problem (Sony ask all of them) that cost a lot for a simple indie team…
We also try to organise diffent aspect of the project and i did work hard on the website with features linked to the game engine.
Then in 2016 i have to deal with team mates that are motivated at the beguining then do not work that much or leave without a notice.
Exemple the animator leave us so i had to start to learn and do it my self from scratch…
Also i build by myself without team help a main base of the game done in less than 2 month by following tutorials.
the final result here (including Animations, Keys/Pad movements, Tesselation textures, Music, Sounds, Main Menu, Network system LAN/WAN, AI, etc…)
I even had to learn and compose music by my self, these are not finished but you can have an idea of what i can do
New music composers join us so it will be not a problem for now.
This year 2017 i had financial difficulties because i move to Japan the year before and couldn’t find job mainely reason i dont speak well japanese…
Also i have to deal with my old laptop that can’t handle UE4 without overheat HP ProBook 4710s
I had disk crash and so on…
My new fulltime job as webdesigner will start this june 2017 so i will be able to afford my new Desktop PC
Around july-September + UE4 assets like 2 handed sword animeset and Rama Melee Weapon Plugin, etc…

Anyway, i have always to deal with law stuff, recruiting, managing the team, building the websites, translate my ideas to devs, designer, animators, etc…
It’s a lot to do but we want to do it well, it’s not all about the money, it’s more about everybody satisfaction, a real game refined.
When i got my PC i can work 3 times faster and show the exemple then my team will follow up with more motivation and i hope some of the 200+ animations will be done
and make a basic gameplay then i can make you an epic video montage to show you guys how this game will be epic !
Meanwhile Unreal Engine 4 make a lot of progress and we will use the latest technics to include it into the game

LOL, I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or really don’t know what you’re talking about, but anytime a post is replied to it goes to top so that’s nothing special. you can literally just keep spamming your own thread to keep it on top .

He means his thread is first when you sort by views. Views which you automatically get when you kept your thread on the front page by constantly replying to it yourself. You know, like when you use your recruitment thread as if it were posted in the WIP section, which this thread should be moved to given the ratio of WIP posts to posts that are actually recruitment related.

I did check your “interesting” posts, it’s mostly allways about the same question… what about you ? What are your skills? Have a portfolio or something ?

As for me I am here to observe the marketplace, it seems like in this generation you cannot criticise anything if you are not doing the same thing?
So do you think Birdemic: Shock and Terror is a bad movie? if so why don’t you make your blockbuster, where are your movies eh?
why do you need sony’s liscence? for PS4? you know you can develop the whole prototype without worrying about running it on real PS4 right?
I wish you guys could post some real gameplay video of the work done so far rather than random images, nothing else.
