The combat for this looks so genuinely fun. The rocket boosts alone are probably one of the coolest feature’s I’ve seen in gaming in a long time. Out of curiousity, how long does one “round” last?
Short answer: 10 minutes (optionally + 10 minutes)
Long answer:
Hold The Line and Supremacy
They are about capturing points, default match duration is about 10 minutes and it prolongs with 3-5 minutes for every point attackers capture. In Supremacy you can capture in any order, in Hold The Line the order is given.
Boarding Action
1 neutral point, 15 minutes, no time adding.
Elimination
Here you kill, execute and finish enemies to fill a score bar before the enemy does, you have about 10 minutes, no time adding.
Duel (= deathmatch)
Several rounds, in each of them you win the round by eliminating enemy team and standing alive, whoever wins N rounds, wins the match.
I love a good “quick” round that respects the experience and time of the player. If you have time to answer just one more question, how long have you been working on this project?
