Rendered in UE5. Some UMG too. Inspired by Vaultlanders minigame.
Hello, this seems pretty interesting to me. I would love to get some more info on what exactly the project is and what type of writing you are looking for, please feel free to post more info on this or send me a dm to discuss further.
may not be the most coherent pitch, but the basic idea is a mash of:
- multiverse
- vaultlanders
- circus electrique
- lego the movie
- others?
Basically in the real world during lockdowns and remote work the video game company offices are empty. There are real toys (like Toy Soldiers or the ones in Vaultlanders) on some desks. The toys come to life and throw down to see which franchise is the best.
The tone is more Brooklyn Nine-nine-ish, some one liners during combat, but hopefully someone creative can come up with an overarching narrative for a story. I personally enjoy somewhat absurd writing (e.g. Avenue 5)
I’m a C++ developer, so I’ll do the systems, but can’t come up with a coherent vision for a story. Making a tournament is easy (single or multiplayer), but I’d be curious in a story if any/possible at all.
If there is a story, it can be done as a comics, no need for actual complex animations (it’s just static poses, see a Vaultlanders duel on Youtube, for example). Anyways, I’m opened to brainstorming/suggestions…
