We’re experiencing a bug with the latest version of the engine in regarding to unloading a streamed level.
We use level streaming in a persistent level to load and unload streaming levels. One of our maps crashes anytime Unload Stream Level is called from Blueprint. I have included the crash report as an attachment.
Upon further troubleshooting, including deleting sections of assets to narrow down the problem, it was discovered that upon deleting the RecastNavMesh-Default asset created by building paths for the NavMeshBounds volume, Unload Stream Level doesn’t crash when called for the map. However, if we rebuild paths for the level, it crashes again anytime Unload Stream Level is called, until it is deleted again. However, this problem doesn’t occur with any other maps we load and unload using streamed levels which also contain NavMeshBounds volumes and built paths.
As additional troubleshooting, we also tried deleting the NavMeshBounds volume in the problematic level, recreated it again, and rebuilt paths; however the problem persists.
Any suggestions?
