Unlit additive material becoming more translucent at certain camera angles

Hello! I am having an issue with a rain Niagara system. Some of the particles become more translucent (or rather, less transulcent if not fully opaque) when looking at them from certain angles, particularly when looking up. I have attached 2 pictures below, right before and after the angle at which the opacity changes. Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks!

One question: Why are you using a sphere mask ?

My take on it would be to put a Fresnel in the opacity instead, I think it would fix your issue.

I used a sphere mask to make the particle sprite circular instead of a square.

Regardless, I removed the opacity parameters altogether (set it to 1) and it still happens. I have noticed new behaviour: if I am moving, it also renders correctly, and sometimes it also renders correctly if I am at a specific place in the world.
