The Issue
For the game I am working on, I was making weekly builds but randomly a month ago I started getting an Unknown Cook Failure whenever I tried to make a build. I troubleshooted it a bit and I think I have narrowed it down to a data asset in the project: DA_FishingChances. The logs when building read: LogOutputDevice: Error: Custom Property List Not Initialized for /Game/DATA/DA_FishingChances.DA_FishingChances_C. This file has been in the project for months, so my assumption is that it must be corruption but I’m not sure.
I want to try repairing/remaking/fixing the data asset but it’s connected and referenced by a bunch of different files in the project. Is there an easier way to remake/reconnect everything or will I need to go in and manually redo everything? Is there a way to troubleshoot this and see if this even is the file that is the culprit?
