Understanding placing Control Points

I have read through the help file but there’s not enough information of how it actually works.

In image#0 I have added 3 control points using visual reference.

Now I switch to image#1 and place 3 control points. They are named point 3, 4, 5, so this can’t be right. I expected them to be point 0, 1 and 2.

I tried what is suggested in the help, I clicked one of the control points in the Control points hierarchy and dragged it onto an image in the 1Ds view. Nothing happened.

What is the way to do place 3 control points in each image, please?

Ok, I finally found the video on YouTube.

How could I quickly cycle through the control points in the Hierarchy?

I don’t want to drag the control point over half of the screen all the time.

Ok, great. I found a workflow.

I have only 1 control point selected, then I cycle through the images using the left and right cursor key.

This way I don’t have to drag the control point anymore.

HI Alice, i’m having the same problem, would you be able to post the link of the youtube tutorial? What I essentially want to do is merge all my components into one mesh.
