Understanding GPU Lightmass in 4.26

Am I correct in assuming GPULightmass is essentially a quicker way of creating your baked lightmaps using the GPU and Raytracing instead of the CPU?

If so should you disable any RayTraced GI when using it?

wont work without raytracing. for now it requires to enable raytracing, dx12 and virtual texture support options

Yes but you can enable RayTracing and still disable Raytraced GI.
