Underground 1965 (Metro London)

Our take on a Metro-style main menu system set in London. The bombs dropped in 1945 and survivors live in the underground system only venturing above to scavenge. Made by ten 3rd year students for their final project at Escape Studios.

Cool, like the style and atmosphere.

Thank you so much means a lot to the team!

Great! I loved everything. And congrats on the Weekly Spotlight.

When I press play the camera flies through the camera and exits to windows

Really cool. Modelling and textures are on point, atmos is excellent and the lighting is perfect. Top job.

Great environment! Very immersive, and intuitive. Reminded me of how I felt when I played the 1st Medal of honor title, back on the old PS1

Hi,

I’ve downloaded the game.

It load up correctly. The art, menus / animations are very well made

But, when I click on ‘Play’, I get back to Windows desktop?? It seem nothing happen in the background so after waiting like 2 mins. I gave up waiting.

Since I couldn’t play, I can’t comment on gameplay. Still, the art is really unique!

This is really cool

Nice work on the Metro-style main menu system set in London reminds me of Falllout.

Sorry to tell you but this isn’t a game - it is only a menu system.

Hello, Is it supposed to last longer than 2 seconds? I run it, it has a setting menu and a Play button, I hit play, the camera zooms through the subway car in about 1 or 2 seconds, and then ends,. Is that it?** It is beautiful **but there is no time to see anything!~ How t slow it down to look around??

ALSO Is it VR? Why would anyone these days, not at least Enable VR as an ENABLE VR ESPECIALLY FOR SOMETHING THAT IS A VISUAL SHOWCASE!!

This is not a full game. It is a skeuomorphic menu system. To get the full experience, select options to explore the settings such as visual and audio as well as the full environment. Finally, there is no VR support - it is made for PC.

Thank you very much

Thank you very much

You guys forgot to credit the audio people! Please please do this because it’s so often the case that audio is forgotten about in credits and its just as important to recognise because it brings life to the scene

This looks - and sounds - really good  Top notch stuff, imo. Lighting is great, assets look really good and there’s an insane amount of detail. The sense of space is really convincing. I’d probably quieten down the whirring sound a tad.

What music track did you use?

And you’ve taught me a new word: skeuomorphic. So even better

Amazing work! Love everything about it, from the interactive pieces of environment, to the excellent artistic direction, to the music!

Thank you very much
