I deleted a project before removing everything I needed from it. Is there a way to reverse the deletion?

On Windows … there are a bunch of utilities that you could try … but they have a varying degree of success … so you are probably out of luck.

This is why you should use some form of version control … even for small projects or test projects. 8-}

I really, really wish that deleting a project would dump it in your recycle bin. ><

You could try it with “Recuva”. Probably you will be abel to get your project back (worked for me the last time) -> but it will recover everything on your disk

Do you have a program running like carbonite? If so just go there and get it back. If not… it’s going to be hard to recover it.

I’ve been restoring deleted information, it’s critical put new data on the disk or it will overwrite the files you want to recover. Sadly most of the time it’s a lost cause. It’s very likely the files to be corrupted, incomplete and in complete chaos. Will serve you as experience. Backup is always a good idea, you can always lose your progress, regardless the reason.
