Unable to use visual studio with UE4

Hello,

I m trying to use VS 2017 with UE4 4.18 but when i start a new C++ project it tell me "install operation didn’t finish successfully. please reinstall or repair VS…

I ve uninstall it and restarted UE4 without it and I ve got the same error with none installation window opened…

I ve installed the VS community, marked the UE4 plug-in but no result at all.

I ve finally uninstalled both programs and reinstalled only Epic to download VS from it. Same Error…

It took me more than a day to download it, I don’t want to restart…

Any Idea please?

Did you have any other versions of Visual Studio or the Windows SDK installed prior to installing Visual Studio 2017? I ran into a few issues with multiple Windows SDK installs. Ultimately, I had to remove and re-add the SDK and Visual C++ components through the Visual Studio 2017 installer. I have to double-check the options, but it didn’t take many to get it up and running once I removed my older versions.
