Unable to use Path tracer button.

Hi there! I recently downloaded Twinmotion 2024.1.2 for Revit and use it to export 3D models from Revit and create renders in Twinmotion. However, I’m unable to use the “Path Tracer” button. It’s grayed out, and when I try to click it, I receive a message saying, “Your system does not meet the recommended requirements to use the Path Tracer.” I’ve checked my system specifications against the requirements, and everything should be compatible.

Previously, before updating to Twinmotion 2024.1.2, I used Twinmotion 2022 with Revit 2022, and the Path Tracer worked fine—I was able to export images without any issues. What could be causing this problem?

my opinion is : try to change direct x from twinmoltion , look if you have derect x 11 or 12 and do the right choice , i hope this helps you !!

I have a desktop computer and have been using Twinmotion for a couple of years. I’ve never been able to get the path tracer feature to work. it’s always greyed out. I’ve updated the OS, graphics card, selected directx 12 in the settings but it has never worked for me. Now I’m in TM 2025.2 and was hoping it would somehow work for me, but it is not. I’ve been on the phone with my IT for hours and they also performed updates, but it’s still grayed out. i Don’t know what to do next. Does anybody have any ideas for me to try?
