Unable to start UE4Editor in Ubuntu

I am trying to run the editor on ubuntu but if get fails with this message :

LogHAL: Error: LinuxSplash_InitSplashResources() : Splash screen window could not be created! SDL_Error: Couldn’t find matching GLX visual

Fatal error: Cannot create dummy GL window for shared context.

Error: appError called: Assertion failed: Assertion failed:
Cannot create dummy GL window for shared context.

As it says. Creating an OpenGL context fails. Which GFX card and which drivers are you using?
