Unable to Open Project File in Unreal Engine 5.2.0

Dear Support Team,

I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I am encountering when attempting to open a project file in Unreal Engine 5.2.0. I have installed both Unreal Engine 5.2.0 and 5.1.1 on my computer.

The project file I am trying to open was created in Unreal Engine 5.2.0. However, when I try to open the file, I receive the following error message:

"This project requires the TwinmotionToUnrealContent plugin. Would you like to download it from the Unreal Engine Marketplace?"

I have already installed the TwinmotionToUnrealContent plugin in Unreal Engine 5.1.1. However, it appears that Unreal Engine 5.2.0 does not support the TwinmotionToUnrealContent plugin, causing this error message to appear when opening the file.

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on resolving this issue. Is there a way to make the TwinmotionToUnrealContent plugin compatible with Unreal Engine 5.2.0? Alternatively, are there any workarounds or suggestions you can provide to allow me to open the project file in Unreal Engine 5.2.0?

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and assistance in resolving this compatibility issue.

Best regards,

Timea Vida

Hello ,

We are working on getting an available content plugin on the marketplace for 5.2

Currently you can manually load the 5.1 content plugin into UE 5.2 or your project by copying the plugin folder then loading into the project.

Copy this folder \UE_5.1\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\TwinmotiontoUnrealBeta

into this folder \UE_5.2\Engine\Plugins\TwinmotiontoUnrealBeta

Open UE 5.2 and load the plugin found under Twinmotion - You will get a warning message after restarting asking you if you want to load it, make sure to click yes.

When we release the plugin on marketplace (coming very soon) you will just delete the folder you manually placed and then download the correct one from the marketplace.

Kind regards,
