Hello RealityCapture Staff and Community,
The CyArk team used Topcon GLS2000 to capture the Sogi Power Plant in 2015, and I downloaded that E57 Scans from OpenHeritage3D website. Unfortunately, I could not open their terrestrial LiDAR file on RealityCapture, but I can open it on CloudCompare. RealityCapture processed the data but displayed nothing about that dataset. I believe it is an ordered LiDAR data since it contains TLS/GBL. Any ideas?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi @Esmond_007
Then main problem there will be that the intensity values are not in the range 0-1. I checked the scan and there are values over 100, which is not supported by RealityCapture.
To open the scan, you need to resave it with supported intensity range.
Hello @OndrejTrhan,
Thanks for your reply. I believe the color scale of the scalar field is grey because the maximum intensity is 256. However, I do not know how to convert the color scale in other software. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
Best regards,
Esmond
Hello @Esmond_007
I suppose you need to do this during laser scan export.
Maybe this can do so: Scalar fields\Arithmetic - CloudCompareWiki
I checked and the intensity values were changed, but the problem is still there. I suppose there were some unknown settings which influenced this behaviour.
Also, the problem is, that TLS is on the same position for model scans:
and it is out of the point cloud.
