since I have installed the latest update an now i receiving the following issue when Launching the UE editor
Uninstalling the plugin allows 4.11.1 to work. thank you for putting in the bug report so this can get updated. thanks for the quick response.
Hi KevinMO,
I was able to reproduce this crash on my system running UE4.11.1 and have entered the following bug report: JIRA [UE-29453]. I noticed, however, before uninstalling the Substance Plugin, it was labeled “4.11.0” so it may just be a matter of Substance updating their plugin.
In the meantime, uninstalling the Plugin will allow you to run UE4.11.1. Let me know if this does not resolve your issue.
Thanks,
.
I also get this error. If I try to run from VisualStudio I get a popup called Find Source that is looking for substancecoremodule.cpp
It is looking in this directory: d:\buildfarm\buildmachine_++portal+main\rocketsync\hostproject\plugins\substance\source\substancecore\private\substancecoremodule.cpp
After pointer to the right location, it crashes on line 90 of it UE_LOG(LogSubstanceCoreModule, Fatal, TEXT(“Unable to load Substance Library.”));
I have the same problem with substance. I thought it was a problem with my project, so I simply clicked the Launch button to launch 4.11.1 so I could create a new project but it crashed on start up. Uninstalling the Substance plugin allows successful launch of 4.11.1
There was apparently an issue with the Substance plugin which they have fixed. Please uninstall your current version of Substance, then download and install the new version. Let me know if this does not resolve the issue. -Thanks!
That still does not work: 4.17.1
Fatal error: [File:C:****\Plugins\Substance\Source\SubstanceCore\Private\SubstanceCoreModule.cpp] [Line: 95] Unable to load Substance Library.
Also it does not want to cook when I try to compile a server for Linux.
