hi @FierceDeityYT ,
The version on the Epic Games Store appears to be an old version.
- Go into search engine Bing.com and
- type “Microsoft Store Epic Games Launcher”
- Click on the link in Microsoft Store Epic Games Launcher
- NOT the Epic games Launcher Below
- You will then see the Microsoft Store Download page and click the link.
- Looks like a regression has taken place
- First you must install the old version with Windows Uninstall
- Restart your PC
- Go into search engine Bing.com and
- type “Microsoft Store Epic Games Launcher”
- Click on the link in Microsoft Store Epic Games Launcher
- NOT the Epic games Launcher Below that link
- Double click the Downloaded Microsoft Store Epic Games Launcher
- Agree to the install prompt and wait for the download to complete (< 5 minutes)
- This copy of launcher will ask for you username/password
- then will send you a verification code to enter
- The familiar display will open and you can download Fortnite updates.
- DO NOT BE TEMPTED to ALLOW updates to launcher for about 2 weeks until Epic fix the problems
@Flak Please alert Epic Support about this problem as the “Get Fortnite” icon link (top right) is broken as well
