Whenever I try to install the UE 4.24 it comes up with an error code DP-06 that says “you do not have permission to install C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_4.24”. Any ideas on how to fix the issue so I can install 4.24?
I am also interested in the fix for this. I have 120+GB disk space on C:.
had the same prob
my fix : “epic games” folder was in Program files(x86)" so change ur directory to C:\Program Files(x86)\Epic Games\UE_4.24" by navigating in the installation explorer.
All this is after u make sure that u r running epic launcher as admin and u have appropriate “permissions” (look on unreals website).
