I’m not sure if this is intended behaviour or not but whenever I have a material instance on my health bar for example and I want to edit the material, instead of manually searching for it I click on the magnifying glass icon but it sends me to the engine content browser and doesn’t direct me to the health bar material. This works fine for anything else. If I want to make little tweaks to the material it’s just a neat shortcut to have.
There should be reference (path to asset) next to that looking glass icon.
Copy paste that path here.
And for comparison same path for asset you can go to by looking glass icon.
Ps.
If you are not curious what is going on, just remember path go there manually, and copy that material somewhere. This probably will fix issue.
Yeah the problem is I am setting a dynamic material and anytime I compile it will set the material to a dynamic instance regardless of what it was set to. If there isn’t a way to quickly navigate to it then I guess it would be more of a feature request than anything
